After so much messing about from the garage of delivery dates for my new car I opted to cancel their delivery and go over to basingstoke to collect it myself and bring it back. So it was off to southampton on the redfunnel ferry from east cowes as a foot passenger then got an uber taxi from the ferry terminal at southampton to southampton central train station to get the train to basingstoke. Got picked up from basingstoke station by the salesman and got to the garage,after a nice cup of tea and doing the paperwork for the handover I was shown around the car and to work out all the settings I drive off to head back to southampton stopping at Rownham service for a mcdonalds. I was back on the 6pm redfunnel ferry back to southampton arrived 7pm in east cowes on the isle of wight then drove back home and parked it up. Spent the next day installing a dash cam in the car and playing with all the settings. Took it out for a little run today so I am really happy with my new ds3 crossback. Hopefully I will have as much fun and enjoying driving it as I did the citroen ds5.
