Not long to go before Christmas day only 7 days to go. There is so much build up to Christmas but it does go so quick. I love christmas and so all of my Christmas shopping as early as August. Everything is wrapped up and presents sent out by October. Then the tree and the decorations go up in December.

Christmas is magical when the kids are small once they stop believing in santa the magic goes out of Christmas.

I have been on the isle of wight for 20 years now and have always found it be my forever home i dint miss Birmingham at all. A lot has happened since I have been on the island especially in the last 5 years. I have met some really amazing gents and have had so much fun and everyone is amazing. Both my children have grown into good adults moved out. My first cat flossy died at the age of 7 and flossy chose to come and live with me she was only a seventeen month old kitten and has just had her 8th birthday. I moved house from east cowes to newport and then to yarmouth, lost a husband and my dear mother in law also died 3 years ago. I found d her quite interfering but deep down inside her heart was in the right place and she was a doting grandmother. Despite her flaws I did consider her as my real mum. Despite everything that had gone on in my life I have bounced back and am much happier with my life.

Christmas is a time for family and friends to get together its not about presents it about spending quality time with others and it’s the thought that counts. It’s a time to reflect how important everything is and remember loved ones who are not with us anymore.
